Position Overview
The Social Media Manager will play a crucial role in building and executing our social media strategy. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement across platforms.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, and written) that aligns with our brand voice.
- Monitor social media trends and audience preferences to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner.
- Analyze and report on social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to create cohesive campaigns that promote our products/services.
- Stay updated with the latest social media best practices and technologies to continually improve our approach.
- Assist in the development of multimedia content, including graphics and videos to support social media initiatives.
Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in social media management or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an eye for detail.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret social media metrics to enhance content strategies.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Canva) is a plus.
- Proven ability to create content that drives engagement and builds community.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in the tech or digital marketing sector.
- Understanding of SEO principles and their application to social media.
